Melts on Main

So this place opened about two months ago, or should I say reopened. This used to be Moms but now it has been rebranded and reopened by a 22 year old entrepreneur named Ashley. Having impressively redesigned the interior from the look of a cozy old home to a very fresh new look. Having lived in France I was told that the brasseries provided inspiration, this casual dining experience.

The shop is stocked with products from local bakeries, piccolo coffee, crooked can beer, and some wine options too. Ordered a Rose sangria to start then took a look at the menu. The menu is simple but fantastic offering some shareables, sandwiches, salads, and desserts including vegan and gluten free options. For an appetizer I got the hummus plate served with some fresh veggies, olives, and some pita chips which was a nice start.

I got the spicy chicken avocado sandwich which I really enjoyed, spicy chicken and avocado is a great mix and it was all cooked fresh in the little kitchen they have. Now the really exciting part was dessert, they have giant cookies in chocolate chip and red velvet which are gluten free and vegan just like the oreo cupcake! These suckers are delicious! I finished with a croissant and an espresso because how do you hit a cafe like this without indulging in a cup of coffee as well.
