Splitsville Disney Springs

When I think of a bowling alley the word food is usually associated with greasy burgers, questionable hot dogs, mediocre pizza, and perhaps some really good chili cheese fries, Splitsville breaks that mold. Luxury lanes in a two story building, sushi bars, upstairs and downstairs bar, patio bar with live music in the evenings this place has it all. Check in on the lower 1st floor and grab some bowling shoes and register for a lane if you’re there for bowling, which you should be because this is primarily a bowling alley! From there you will be either upstairs or downstairs on a lane but if for any reason you are not there to bowl head to the bar area upstairs it comes with a great view overlooking Disney Springs which tends to light up a bit more at night time. I started off with a Cucumber cooler which is Tito's Handmade Vodka with freshly squeezed lime, simple syrup and crisp cucumber slices. Just as refreshing with Hendrick's Gin so you have the ability to switch it up.

Ordering was not that difficult as I am a sucker for burgers so the spicy foghorn burger was something I gravitated towards. This burger is Smothered in pepper jack cheese and topped with a fried egg, fried jalapeños, sriracha and cilantro-lime sauce served with lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion and fries which I upgraded to loaded fries. The burger was not as spicy as I was expecting but the flavors were all there and it hit a lot of good notes there, aside from that the thing is huge and rather filling. The loaded fries are indeed loaded, the burger was a lot but this was a real topper.

Aside from that I ordered the Galaxy Roll which is Ahi tuna seared in kimchi ponzu, spicy crab mix, avocado and cream cheese rolled in soy paper. Topped with spicy shrimp mix, eel sauce, scallions and sesame seeds. This came at the recommendation of literally every employee I asked it is an absolute staff favorite there and more often than not it is just easier to trust them since they see this stuff all day. I washed all that down with their Spicy Mango Margarita which is seedless jalapeño slices muddled with fresh basil and blended with premium tequila, mango puree, ginger liqueur, lime juice and simple syrup. That actually had a kick to it and I highly recommend that for any spicy marg lovers it was not only full of fresh mango flavor but it had a great spice to it. Rather unique menu for a bowling alley but I do not think we would expect anything less at Disney Springs, I will have to go back for some more of their plated dishes which also look amazing so I will update those once they’ve been eaten but until then rest easy knowing that this is a great place for good drinks, good food, and good times!
