Today at around noon Universal Orlando has announced the cancellation of it’s world famous Halloween Horror Nights.

“this pain will be temporary. hhn is forever... and will come again.”

For big fans of the event (like myself) this is awful but somewhat expected. This year was to mark the 30th anniversary of the event and many had been speculating on big announcements. While the announcements typically start around the end of May, this year due to the current health pandemic nothing had been announced as they had been dealing with the safe reopening of the parks. That being said and having been to the parks since the reopening I am sure that the logistics behind an event like horror nights, which usually have people in a consistent crowded line in close proximity to scare actors, would have been a nightmare. All a fan can do is hope that next year is bigger and better.
