So you didn’t end up in Ireland this year for St Patricks day and you’ll miss the cold weather and festivities but do not despair you are still in luck! These are our top picks for great Irish pubs for St Patricks day (and in general) that you can celebrate at properly!

The Lucky Leprechaun

This charming little Irish pub located at the heart of International drive has been around for many a year and is home to the Orlando Celtic supporters. In their regular times they open for plenty of the Premier League Soccer games and of course all the Glasgow Celtic games and plenty of the All Ireland GAA games if you’re into a bit of the Gaelic this is the place you need to be! With Elvis nights and a lively atmosphere their fantastic bar staff always provides that homey feeling you get in an Irish pub.

For St Patricks the celebrations start early! Friday with Rusty O’Cutlass in to perform from 8-10 pm, on Saturday the Rambling Rovers will be in from 7-8:30pm and then of course Tuesday doors open early with the Florida Irish Dancers and Irish Echoes, and Rusty back for another go. Corned beef and cabbage, Irish stew, sausage rolls and the lot will also be available. This is a beer and wine pub so no shots of Jameson but a decent pour of Guinness and one of my favorite haunts in town!

Claddagh Cottage Irish Pub

Located in the a very fresh looking Hourglass District this is a very traditional looking pub both inside and out. The owners had apparently met in a trad session in the original cottage location and set this one up years later. This pub really does have the feel, the fireplace, the decor, just everything about it makes you feel like you’ve been transported to the Emerald Isle itself. Fresh pours of Guinness and spirits available this is a great traditional style place to be.

On St Patricks day doors open at noon there will be a stage outside with the Sling Hoppers, Mournin Biscuits and Murphys Slaw. Limited quick service menu will be available including those delicious sausage rolls you see pictured above.

Raglan Road Irish Pub

How could I possibly exclude what might in fact be the largest Irish Pub in Orlando? Well this one is impossible to ignore it holds one of the biggest family friends St Patricks celebrations in town and to make it nice and easy it is located in Disney Springs. Mind you there is a cover to get in but the festivities seem never ending. Irish trad music all day with the dancers on and off throughout the day. Regular menu available and of course the full bar never stops.

Their pints of Guinness are among the best poured in town and their menu will not leave you wanting. The battered sausages appetizer is a personal favorite and they are pretty well known for their fish and chips among many other menu items. This is on Disney property so for those of you who may be looking to do something early with the family this is a non stop party!

Irish owned and operated this cozy little downtown pub has full beer and spirits, a couple pool tables, and a great atmosphere. With a few house drink specials and hospitable hosts this is sure to be a great stop for their St Patricks celebration. They have a great selection of Irish whiskeys available here, they only carry some of the best ones out there so make sure to try one out. This is a great place for Rugby fans as you will be able to catch plenty of those games here which is nice since more places seem to just play soccer matches while Ireland actually has a solid rugby team as well but this is a different conversation.

This is another long time Orlando establishment as they have been around a while. Friendly and traditional atmosphere paired with some great food. Up top you can see the Irish stew we had. Good food available every day making this a decent every day lunch stop as well as a great pub. Good place to catch plenty of games or even stop by for a pint before an Orlando City game. Always a good stop on St Patricks day.
