An Honorary Nod to In-N-Out

This is a post for In N Out burger because what kind of self respecting California native would I be if my food blog did not have at least one post about In N Out? All my life it has just been there, always consistent, always affordable, always fresh. Some people adore it, some people care for it less, some say the burgers are good but don’t like the fries but we don’t care. I love the brand and the burgers and any time I return to the west coast it is something I indulge in. Started in 1948 in Baldwin Park, California with a focus on quick and fresh service they started cranking out burgers. with over 50 restaurants in California their first out of state location opened in Nevada in 1992 and now with over 300 locations in several West Coast states I get to sit patiently on the East Coast waiting for the day they decide we are worthy. Always go for a double double at least, I personally like the raw onions so I do not always indulge in animal style burgers but I now refuse to have anything but their animal style fries. Fresh cut fries topped with spread (1000 island), grilled onions, and a slice of cheese.

Most important of all is that you can add additional meat so you can have a 3x3 a 4x4 with 4 meat 4 cheese like that picture right there. All nice and pretty and most importantly fresh, in 2 decades of constantly eating at various In N Out locations I can count on one hand how many times I have ever had any kind of issue with my food or the service and every time there has been one it was handled in a way that should make Chick fil a jealous on a service level. So there it is, there is my Californian post about how much I love In N Out and think it is the best thing ever and I could care less about the naysayers because that’s what this hamburger is alllll about.
