Fleur de Lis French Quarter Cuisine Brings the Bayou to you.

In a pleasant surprise during all this quarantine madness I found this food truck of wonders while on my way to Rockpit Brewing for some growlers and brewing supplies. This French Quarter kitchen is serving up some real authentic Louisiana flavor. I grabbed some chicken and andoullie sausage gumbo which has the perfect amount of spice to compliment all the bold cajun flavors. In addition to that I picked up their blackened chicken poboy and was blown away. This thing is more than a handful for sure, like I understand how they manage to sell this by the half sandwich because it is most definitely packed. Chicken on top of lettuce, tomato, mayo, and some pickle. The chicken is blackened and boy oh boy this spot knows how to season their food because those pieces of chicken are delightful. It is only know that i’m realizing it wasn’t even the usual fried chicken that I have come to expect from a poboy but the fact that the taste was so much better and blackened chicken is healthier make this somewhere to return to for more good eats.
