Hats Off to The Hat World Famous Pastrami
It would be safe to say that we all have some places in our lives that we grew up around, the kind of place that never really let you down. You always knew what you wanted and you always got it. For me, one of those places is The Hat World Famous Pastrami, dishing out pastrami sandwiches, burgers, fries and the like since 1951 they have expanded from Alhambra adding ten more locations throughout parts on Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties.
I always loved their cheeseburgers, nothing complicated, not overdone just simple but consistent and delicious. Most people are definitely there for their pastrami, it is the thing they are known for and it is a home run, the burgers are great, fries with gravy amazing, and one of their sandwiches is a win, but for me the real plat de résistance is their chili cheese fries.
I love these things, plain and simple, I have no clue what’s in the chili or if those are anything more than standard bulk bought fries but I do know that they are delicious. It would take me hours to recount every fantastic night that began or ended around these things. Easily enough to feed 2-4 people depending on the beasts eating but still selling for about $7 at the time of this article. The perfect centerpiece for each and every table when you’re ordering and guess what?! they make them topped with pastrami too! So Party on my hungry friends and for those making one of their epic Los Angeles trips, I suggest you find their closest location and go check out a local favorite.
